Surviving 3 under 5 said:Talk about wanting to go home. Marcs is looking forward to his comfy bed, his quiet room, restful nights, sweet dreams. He said that between the nurses checking this or that he really was not sleeping. Well I don't know about all that. (He dosed off as I talked to him on the phone) Gianina said that he conveniently fell asleep once they drove him crazy with hang man, checkers, and tic tac toe. All I can say is if lets you rest continue to fall asleep when we get a little crazy. We know you need your rest and we all hope you will get some now that you are home.
Surviving 3 under 5 said:Machini spent a couple of days here while Marcs was getting the Chemo treatment. He collected several toys that have been so loved that they don't fully work like the once did. He collected them in his suitcase and said I am going to take these home because my Daddy is a fixer. He can fix anything. Except for some kind of chicken(?)he said. He was so proud. Well needless to say I had to hide the stash before he left home. The last thing we wanted was work for Marcs. We know he is a fantastic fixer. He always fixes julio's exploded guitar, the toy jammed vcr with a smile. Raul & I tried to build a derby car with the boys last spring. Raul ended up in the Hospital with 15 stiches. I tried to finish the project...the car looked like I cut it with a steak knife. We traveled to Hesperia to see if Marcs could save the project. I am not exagerating if I say that before I had finished telling the whole adventure Marcs got up and went to the garage, 5 minutes later he calmly returned with the perfectly cut, sanded derby car. He saved the day again. Quietly calmly with a smile. But right now rest is the order of the day.Take care of yourself, rest. Relax, forget those projects...Til next week...
