Surviving 3 under 5 says:
Today The wife tried to convince my 7 year old child to be brave and take his allery shots twice a week. She told him about sucking it up, being brave, having courage, & being a big boy. She was about to go into the papuzi or straight jacket option if he was not brave. Thank God I told her to stop. All I need is more tramatic images in Romans head.

Romani is really scared of shots. She used Tio Marcs as an example of Bravery. "We know that Tio does not like to stay in the hospital, we know that the medicine is poison, we know that Tio wishes he could just say "No" I won't do it". But she told Roman...Your Tio is sucking it up. He is taking a deep breath and as much as he wants to go home, away from all the bad side affects...He stays. The medicine = hair falls = feel sick to the stomach but Tio knows it also means... Smaller Tumor and that means Smaller Surgery!!!

Even my Romani realized what a courageous Tio he has. I don't think he feels that he is as courageous as his Tio Marcs. I know we all wonder if we would be brave, courageous at the time where we are scared down to the bottom of our soul. I guess that is why we are so inspired by Marcs. I know that he wishes he did not have this burden but through this Cancer we have seen him have enormous courage.

My Romani and the rest of us have a grand rolemodel in his Tio Marcs. I hope Romani gains the courage needed to stand up to his fear of shots. I think we have all learned a Life Lesson that we can survive even the unimaginable one day at a time. For Marcs, Marie, Gianina have taught us to stand and fight with all of your might...Be Brave!!

Love you V

There are so many ways you can translate the picture you chose Moshura's sister. And anyway you use it all means the same. M&M is a tuffy.

Day 3- Today he was feeling nauseous and very tired. He spend most of the day in bed being lazy.

He had Poppa and Momma M come visit for all of maybe 10 min. Poppa M began to say bueno....meanning he is ready to M&M thought it was funny the first time he said it today and M&M started to laugh the second one M&M made a hand signal with two fingers.

M&M had the biggest smile on his face. It was great to see that big smile.

It's not hard to understand the continuous, wonderful support for our brave Mr. Marcus. You only have to hang out with Marcus for a couple of minutes (ok, seconds) to truly appreciate how great and genuine he is. He is a no nonsense kind of guy who is definitely there for you. Have a techie question? He can answer it. Have a bar-be-que question? He can answer it too. Enjoy Nascar? So does he. He is the kind of person you want to hang out with on either a busy (let's remodel the garage) or relaxing (let's watch t.v.) weekend and the kind of person who you know will always be there sharing his expertise:) Marcus, we know it is round 3 and I can just imagine that after round 1 and 2 you are thinking, "Ok! Enough!" What makes you so brave and extraordinary is that even though you might be thinking it...Everytime we see you, you let us know that you are fighting this. Just know that we are here for you and know that you are so loved and we definitely see you as the lion (although we love seeing you as the fluffy, kitty cat). You are a courageous fighter and we definitely see you fighting this. You are the "Eye of the Tiger"! (I know, the lion would have worked better.) You are our Rocky Balboa...:)

Found the lyrics to "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor.

Rising up, back on the street
Did my time, took my chances
Went the distance, now I'm back on my feet
Just a man and his will to survive

So many times, it happens too fast
You change your passion for glory
Don't lose your grip on the dreams of the past
You must fight just to keep them alive

It's the eye of the tiger, it's the cream of the fight
Rising us to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night
And he's watching us all in the eye of the tiger

Face to face, out in the heat
Hanging tough, staying hungry
They stack the odds,'till we take to the street
For we kill with the skill to survive

It's the eye of the tiger, it's the cream of the fight
Rising us to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night
And he's watching us all in the eye of the tiger

Rising up, straight to the top
Have the guts, have the glory
Went the distance, now I'm not gonna stop

*This can be either inspiring or quite corny. You decide:)
