Glad to be home after being at City of Hope for a week. It just seemed that time was just running slow. Especially the last couple of minutes before the last of the mesna was dripping. This is were Marco starts to feel the anxiety to leave with one foot out the door.
We are so happy that Marco is done with the chemo....I am really hoping that this is it. I hate seeing him go through all this.
We were wanting to be home with enough time to see DLP before she left to her winter formal and we did. I was very excited that she hadn't left when we arrived. She looked so beautiful and so grown-up it brought tears to my eyes to see my little girl all dressed up.
But that is life and all I did was take pictures and smile as she ran away in the rain to go to the dance. Hope she enjoys herself.
Now to get as much rest tonight before returning to City of Hope tomorrow for his neulasta shot to boost his immune system. We will be back in time to see the Saints beat the Colts. GO Saints!
Marco is very tired in this last cycle ....really hoping it doesn't last to long. I am very glad we are home and that the chemo is over.
