Want To Go Home

Starting to feel the anxiety of being here to long .....Marco has been ready to go home. The days seem to go by so slow and the days just drag on. But we are planning on being home on Saturday by late afternoon. I am so excited because DLP has her first Winter Formal to go to. I was feeling sad that we would not be there to see her get ready. But the nurses says they would do their best to get him out on time so we are crossing our fingers for that.

This cycle was cut short by one chemo, they took out one chemo which Dr. Chow thought might had been a culprit to the complications that Marco was having with his platelets being extremely low. So this time he only one got one bag of that chemo on the first day and that was it. So far he has been tolerating it very well.....but he is starting to feel the nausea in the morning now. Tolerating it as well as he can. We both miss the kids that we haven't seen all week and that's because the chemo started early afternoon and if they were to come after school Marco would not be allowed to walk downstairs during chemo. I think that's what leads us to the anxiety as well as not wanting to get all the chemical into his body.

We have had several of the nurses that we know and are all very happy to see us but this morning we were surprised with Julie who was so excited to see us more. She said that she was excited to know that she was going to be our nurse. It was funny she came in and gave us a big hug. She is so sweet.

Marco has his rep to keep.......... as the good patient .....all the nurses love him ..he just laughs to hear that. Well ,hell what else can we do....I wonder what they would all say if he would rebel .lol

After going home for two weeks we will be meeting with the surgeon again to see if he will be doing the surgery or what the next step will be so crossing our fingers for a second time that they will opt to do surgery.

Till the next update........

I know it has been a week for you both, especially for Marcus who has had to endure another week of chemo. Two more days to go and you'll get a chance to go home and enjoy watching DLP head off to her first formal, the NASCAR shoot out and the Superbowl. Wow busy weekend for you both:)
